Local, Sectional and State Competitions
The Boise Rifle and Pistol Club hosts several pistol competitions each year. These are fired with .22, .45 and other caliber pistols.

Almost all shoots this year will be one day shoots, except for the Sectional and State shoots. The one day shoots give the option to participate in:
  • 900 shot at 50ft. with .22
  • 900 shot at 25yds. with .22
  • 900 shot at 25 yds. with the CF caliber of your choice

Any combination of one, two or all three matches may be shot during the day.

Boise Rifle & Pistol Club Range, 6961 Supply Way, Boise, Idaho. Supply Way is located off Gowen Road, Approximately 1 mile west of I-84 ; Use exit 57.
ELIGIBILITY
All competitors should be individual NRA members but not required.
ENTRIES
Entrees will be honored in the order received, and will be accepted until the last relay is called to the firing line. Shooters traveling more than 50 miles will receive relay preference.
CLASSIFICATION
NRA classes will be used. Unclassified shooters will shoot in the Master class. If less than three shooters in a class, that class will be combined with the next higher class. In no case will an individual be combined into a classification more than one level above his true classification
CATEGORIES
There will be no categories.
RULES & TARGETS:
Current NRA rules will govern all matches.
NRA B-16 targets will be used for slow fire.
NRA B-8 targets will be used for Timed and Rapid Fire.
COURSE OF FIRE
All matches are shot at 25 yards. There will be 20 rounds per match, except for the National Match Course, which will be 30 rounds.

TEAMS:
A team will consist of four (4) firing members representing an NRA affiliated club (Rule 2.11 or (A), (B), a law enforcement agency (Rule 2.14), a regular service, National Guard or Reserve Unit (Rule 2.13). Teams composed of competitors not all in the same category are mixed teams. Mixed teams in Sectionals may fire for open awards only. Scores for mixed teams will not be used for National ranking or awards.
NOTE: In order for scores from a Sectional to be recognized for sectional awards, there must be teams and individuals entered in the sectional concerned representing more than one affiliated organization. All scores, except those from mixed teams, will be recognized for National awards.
